You absolutely must go to the Roger Arlington Showroom in the D & D building on the upper east side right now. They are selling fabric for $1/yard! YES, ONE DOLLAR. These are fabrics that are being discontinued so some are adorable, and some are just terrible and there is a reason they are being phased out.
I just bought yardage to reupholster my tiny loveseat in my living room. I couldn't find the exact fabric but it's a cross between a large gingham and a small window pane pattern. Or maybe it's just plaid.

This was the closest one I could find but the white part is wider and the brown is a bit more muted than above. I'd love to make some cute pink pillows to go with it!

Oh that's amazing. I live in the NY area I must make a trip to the D&D!
ReplyDeleteIs the Roger Arlington showroom going out of business? I've tried calling them, but there's no answer. Would love to know.
ReplyDeleteHi Anon,
ReplyDeleteI went to the showroom yesterday and they are closed but not out of business. It wasn't exactly clear what was happening but it seemed like they didn't know either...sorry I couldn't have helped more.
I ordered wallpaper from them a couple weeks ago and called and the number has been disconnected. I would love to know any more info any one has on the status of the company. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHey, so I went back and if you ordered your fabric from First Editions, you can contact them. The phone # to the D and D info is here:http://www.thedanddbuilding.com/contact.htm Apparently in the closing, there was some drama...
ReplyDeleteWhere is Roger Arlington? I need to order some pewter wallpaper from them....Help!
