Many of you may know, but I got a new job! I love where I work now and
I'm learning so much. Again! In my new job, we work a lot with
neutrals which is a stark difference from my previous job which was
crammed with bright color. I've been looking a lot at a lot of spaces with
neutrals, greys, and whites and I'm finding it very calming and fresh.

This is a nice color grey for the walls of this living room and really makes the sofa look light. I'm completely obsessed with that wood slat light fixture though. |
|
White walls and a grey ceiling? I'm in. It reminds me of a covered porch especially with that fun lantern. |
|
I don't care for the lack of architecture here in this boxy room but the simple drapery and neutral accents win me over. |
|
I want a bed like this when we move into our CT farmhouse and now that I'm working in CT, who knows when that will happen!?!?! |
|
I'm loving the light shades of ivory and grey in this living room. It opens up the space and looks so fresh. You better not spill in here though! |
Don't worry, I'll never abandon my love of color. It's been really fun to work with greys and neutrals though, there's still plenty of color in them, believe me. I'm learning so many new things, new paint colors, new vendors, etc. I like the idea of light airy interiors especially now that Summer is here. I hope you all had a nice weekend enjoying this lovely weather. I have jury duty tomorrow morning, so wish me luck getting out of it...ew.

Congratulations on the new job! This month's Lonny Magazine (online) had a few neat interiors with gray and white, FYI.
Darcy, Thanks so much! I've actually been pinning up a storm (as have you, I see). Lonny is the best!

I don't know, Lish, that bed looks like the metal part of a lamp! Love the colors in these rooms. Who knew you could do so much with neutrals?
