To say goodbye.
After much thought I've decided to retire from my blog. I'm finding myself thinking of blogging as a chore; something I need to keep up with and I'm spending less time doing things that I really truly want to do. I'm going to be focusing more on my design work and my photography.
I'm very grateful for all the friends I've made through this blog and all that I've discovered about myself design-wise. I never thought I'd have so many followers, commenters, a few give-aways, and over 300 subscribers! Many might think of this as sad, but I'm really quite happy about my decision. It's the right time for me to move on.
Don't worry though, I'm still here at www.aliciabdesigns.com designing, making pillows and accessories, designing fabrics (that's right), and taking way too many pictures. You can email me anytime at aliciabdesigns@gmail.com. Anytime, really.

Oh, I thought you were going to announce a pregnancy or a baby! But, I can understand where you are coming from. I have noticed that there is a definite burn out factor going on with some of the blogs, and life is too short to do something that doesn't inspire you. Best of luck with your design endeavors!

Congratulations on a terrific blog. Your design sense always seemed astute with an eye for beauty and drama. From your explanations I learned something about how to approach interior decoration. Now I walk into a room and actually see what's there. Your personal references added life and humor. Keep up the good work!

I understand, it is both sad and good news, you choose new directions for your explorations. Or new means. Or new whatever. I just wanted to let you know that, besides the many subscribers your blog had, I imagine, a lot of followers like me who never subscribed but regularly visited and found inspiration here. I bought a new flat some weeks ago and I trust it will show the trace of my visits to you blog.
